Craig is the Vice President of Design Engineering globally for Equinix. He has been in post for 5 years. His team consists of Electrical, Mechanical and Controls Engineers and Architects who ensure that Equinix designs meet the exacting demands of Equinix’s diverse global customer base while delivering low total cost of ownership and competitive build costs. His teams have been driving design consistency and leading the adoption of offsite fabrication as a way to deliver improved quality and cost improvement. . Prior to moving to the USA, Craig worked for 4 years for Equinix in EMEA, initially as the Director of Infrastructure dealing with the standardization of operations on M&E infrastructure and dealing with engineering response and reporting of major incidents and latterly before transferring to the US as the Snr Director of Customer Operations, setting up and standardizing the EMEA customer support organization of Service Desk and Customer Support Managers to add value added services to customers post implementation. Craig joined Equinix from NTT where he worked for 10 years in the European Managed Services business, eventually as VP of Operations overseeing the design, implementation and support of their wide range of customers and their accreditation programmes around ISO, PCI-DSS and ITIL processes used to support them .

A keen but frustrated cyclist Craig spends any spare time on his bike in Marin or out with his wife Inez and 2 dogs on the San Francisco beaches.
