Panel: The Elephant in the Room: An Industry/University Perspective on the Current and Future Challenges in Data Center and Sustainability (session)

Arad Azizi is a Senior Scientist at Honeywell International, Inc. and serves as technical lead on advanced R&D in electronics and data center thermal management. In his current position, he designs and evaluates state-of-the-art cooling solutions for high-performance microprocessors and sustainable data centers. Before joining Honeywell, Dr. Azizi was a postdoctoral associate in the Nano-Micro Thermal Group, led by Prof. Scott Schiffres, researching novel materials, manufacturing methods, and designs for boiling enhancement in two-phase immersion cooling systems. Dr. Azizi, received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from The State University of New York at Binghamton in the same research group where he studied laser additive manufacturing of cooling devices onto silicon to address the thermal bottlenecks in high-power microprocessors.
