Bill Launikitis has been in the construction industry for over 25 years and brings a diverse perspective as a data center constructor, operator, and client end user. Bill’s comprehensive data center life cycle experience ranges from site selection, preconstruction, procurement, project management, and commissioning, as well operations and facility maintenance for various companies. With over 20 of those years in mission critical, he has held various positions in the industry including Director, Development and Procurement for Equinix where he led the new development and construction of all Equinix Data centers nationally, and Data Center Operations Director for both the Northern Virginia and Texas Campuses among other positions in Product Development and Carrier Management. Since his departure from Equinix, Bill has served as Senior Director, Global Data Center Operations for Syniverse with teams managing sites in the US, EMEA, and AP. Currently, as CEO of Advanced Technology Project Delivery (AT-PD) Bill runs a company of diverse construction managers specializing in mission critical and highly technical projects serving an impressive list of clients in Silicon Valley and nationally. Bill sits on the Board of Directors for AlfaTech Asia and holds a B.S. in Construction Management with Honors from the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction.
