Mr. Burke has over 39 years of experience as an electrical engineer, with over 34 years focused on critical power system design for data centers and other mission-critical facilities. Although an Electrical Engineer by training, he has also worked with precision cooling and HVAC systems in support of various projects over the past 15 years. Kevin has worked for multiple companies in the Mission Critical Power and Cooling sector, designing UPS and generator power system controls, precision cooling systems, whitespace layouts, and IT rack configurations. His roles have included design, project management, technical sales, and commissioning. Mr. Burke has extensive experience in power distribution systems with a focus on mission-critical applications. He has managed large power systems projects in the North American market, providing technical support and project management assistance to internal and external project team members. He has also provided design and project management support for projects that included mechanical systems as part of the scope. His experience in the design and support of critical system components and control systems enables him to bring a deep understanding of the underlying principles of the equipment as they apply to the overall system operation, offering insights into system capabilities and optimization. Kevin’s background includes managing a project coordination team consisting of project engineers, application engineers, and service project managers. This team was formed to ensure that the presale, post-sale, and service aspects of the project were coordinated to guarantee proper, expected, and timely delivery of projects for clients. Mr. Burke also developed and managed a technical sales office in the Carolinas for a supplier of mission-critical products and services. He is a member of the Board of Directors for AFCOM North Carolina.
