Brenda began her Google career in March 2014 following a technology career spanning 30 years with companies including IBM (Application support for all industries/sectors), Business Information Services (Retail IT support), Wolf Camera (Speciality Retail IT support), Simmons Bedding Company (Manufacturing IT support), and Lend Lease (Large scale construction and property/investment management IT support). Since joining Google, Brenda has built a data center site from the ground up, managed the two largest Google data centers and now has responsibility for all the data centers in the US West/Central Region. She loves all things related to data center infrastructure and the people who run operations. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and currently lives in northeast Alabama on the main channel of the Tennessee river. Brenda has been married to her husband Donald for 28 years, has a 26 year old adult child and a grand-dog. She enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, boating and jet skiing.
