Mixing Liquids Into Your Data Center – Global Recipe for Success (session)

In his former role as Data Center Architect for Intel Corporation John provided research and recommended technology for data center improvements. He translated business requirements into useable efficient designs that support the IT and facility data center architectures to meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. He was the technical lead on data center facilities infrastructure standards, designs, and decisions related to facility infrastructure products and technology deployed. John was Intel’s Subject Matter Expert for critical aspects of data center facility infrastructure designs and developer of the two, high efficiency, high density data center designs Intel Corporation uses. John is the Intel Data Center Architect that developed and provided the design inputs to push Intel data centers Air Side Economizer and Wet Side Economizer into the Highest Power Density@ 780 watts per rack “U”. Highest Air-Cooling Density @ 716 watts per rack “U” and a 1.06 annualized PUE Power Usage Effectiveness. With the cooling, power distribution, rack density design, he developed, Intel has achieved 1,100 to 1,700Watts/sq. ft air cooled data centers providing an industry leading low cost per kilowatt construction and TCO, Total Cost of Ownership.
