Lane has 25 + years’ experience in all aspects of professional Engineering, Construction and Development services. From building his first Data Center in 1999 to today’s QTS Data Centers national and international deployments. Lane has a wealth of knowledge in all facets of the Data Center business.

Throughout his career, he has supported millions of square feet in high-profile Data Center projects across the country. His experience has allowed a number of large Data Center Developers in the world to continue to successfully expand their footprint across the nation and internationally.

Currently, Lane is responsible for QTS Data Centers North American and European Data Center Development. In this capacity, he leverages his Data Center experience to support QTS in their redefinition of Hyperscale and Hybrid Cloud Developments. His main focus with QTS Data Centers is to reposition them as the preeminent leader of cutting-edge Facility Design with Future Proofing, an inherent attribute to all QTS facilities, while simultaneously delivering these facilities with record setting completion times and balancing cost elements to achieve industry leading cost metrics. He has been with QTS Data Centers since 2018.

It is worth noting that QTS is presently active in numerous large-scale developments, the larger of which are in Northern Virginia, Dallas, Phoenix, Hillsboro, Chicago, Atlanta, New Jersey, Silicon Valley, and also in the Netherlands. Lane holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.
