James Li is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in the UPS/datacenter industry, specializing in power conversion and energy storage technologies. Currently serving as the General Manager of UPS, Datacenter, and Telecom business at Ampace, a joint venture between CATL and ATL, James focuses on the user-side energy storage market, including the UPS/datacenter sector. With a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an EMBA degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, James brings a solid educational foundation to his career. He has held various roles throughout his professional journey, including R&D, engineering management, production management, product management, and sales. James has garnered invaluable experience from his tenure at industry-leading companies such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Vertiv. Prior to joining Ampace, James was the Director of Global Product Management in Vertiv for Energy Storage and Large UPS.
