Mark is a strategic, innovative, and passionate senior healthcare IT executive with over 35 years of healthcare, health information technology, and health information exchange experience. He is recognized as an industry leader with an ability to establish a vision, gain consensus, and execute according to plan. Mark currently is the Chief Information Officer for the Delaware Health Information Network (DHIN) and is the longest sitting Chief Information Officer for any HIE, responsible for developing and overseeing the most sustainable statewide/non-profit HIE in the US. Mark brings significant healthcare application, technology, interoperability, health policy, and strategic planning skills to the healthcare industry with a proven track record of integrating IT systems and data to make healthcare information meaningful. Mark brings a value based, customer-first approach to DHIN, with an emphasis on customer value. His 35 + year industry knowledge, expansive network relationship, and ability to achieve collaborative consensus in developing approaches and success strategies for health information technology and health information exchange are proven across provide, payer, HIEs and are unmatched within the industry.
