Dr. Paul Wang is a Senior Engineering Project Team Leader within Caterpillar’s Energy & Transportation Technology Research Division. Paul has worked on a wide range of projects from small parts such as inventions on ignition systems for large reciprocating gensets to single site solutions involving many assets. Paul joined Caterpillar in 2008 after a short stint at the Australian National University working on Solar Thermal Technologies. He earned his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and a PhD in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from the University of Idaho. In his free time, Paul enjoys being a foodie, playing guitar and running.
