Angad Sandhu is the Director of Infrastructure in Google’s Advanced Technology and Infrastructure Group, holds the responsibility of designing and developing cutting-edge products and configurations for future data centers.

Before joining Google, Angad led the infrastructure engineering teams at Tesla, where he designed and constructed manufacturing facilities across the United States, Asia, and Europe. This pivotal role required him to oversee all aspects of facility development, from conceptualization to execution.

Throughout his 20-year career, Angad has consistently demonstrated his exceptional talent in designing and building complex facilities, spanning data centers, semiconductor manufacturing plants, lithium-ion battery manufacturing, and automotive manufacturing. His knowledge and innovative approach have positioned him as a leading figure in the engineering industry.

Driven by a genuine passion for renewables, energy storage, energy distribution, and efficiency, Angad brings a unique perspective to every engineering challenge he encounters. His unwavering commitment to simplicity and a first principles approach enables him to deliver elegant and effective solutions that stand the test of time.

Born and raised in India, Angad’s journey took him to the United States, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, followed by an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. This educational background, coupled with his extensive practical experience, has shaped him into a highly skilled and versatile professional.
