Michael Swetz is a Vice President within Critical Systems Engineering at State Street Corporation responsible for Data Center Operations and Governance Engineering. In this role, he is overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of data center processes, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency.

Michael has management responsibilities for various data center outsourced partnerships. He held various technical roles at State Street and started his current role in 2002. Prior to joining State Street in 1995, Michael served in several technology roles at Automatic Data Processing and Quotron Systems, Inc. which included a variety of financial services business/technology responsibilities; including domestic and international data center management.

Michael oversees data center sustainability initiatives and is a member of State Street’s Corporate Environmental Sustainability Committee Working Group. He is a founding member of the 7×24 Exchange International Mentoring Program. Michael is the former New England Chapter President of 7×24 Exchange International and former President of the Association for Data Center Management Professionals (AFCOM) New England Chapter.
