Rich is the Managing Director at Interact, a world leading environmental consultancy utilizing circular economy machine learning software. He is a Visiting Research Fellow in the School of Engineering at London South Bank University (LSBU) and is on the Net Zero Manufacturing Steering Committee of the Royal Academy of Engineering. He was named one of the top 50 individuals (2024) driving the UK’s progress towards achieving Net Zero by 2050. He has contributed to the UKs Industrial Strategy and European Legislation. His research has been published in internationally renowned academic journals (IEEE, Elsevier, EJECE), conferences (LCM, ICAC, GECOST) and anthologies.
