Panel: Don’t Fear Liquid Cooling – Plan for IT (session)
In OCP Cooling Environments, Don leads development for five subprojects addressing liquid-cooled ITE, including cold-plate, door-HX, immersion, Advanced Cooling Facilities, and heat reuse. Don also heads the Mission Critical Division for Victaulic, enabling liquid distribution in and around data centers. His experience includes twenty years in data center design and delivery, and 30 years in mission-critical design, delivery, reliability, and operations. It all started with his role as a Quality Assurance Officer on USS Bluefish SSN 675. CDR Mitchell has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a Master’s Degree in IT from Florida Institute of Technology, and an MBA from City University, Seattle. He is also an Eagle Scout.
