Michael Swetz is a Vice President within Technology Platform Engineering & Operations at State Street Corporation. In this role, he manages operations and governance activities at State Street’s fleet of data centers. State Street Corporation is an American worldwide financial services company. The company was founded in 1792 and is the second oldest financial institution in the United States of America and an essential partner to institutional investors, Their clients — asset managers and owners, insurance companies, official institutions and central banks — rely on State Street to deliver solutions that support their goals across the investment life cycle.

Michael held various technical roles at State Street and started his current role in 2002. Prior to joining State Street in 1995, Michael served in various technology roles at Automatic Data Processing and Quotron Systems, Inc. which included a variety of financial services business/technology responsibilities; including domestic and international data center management. He is an IT sustainability initiatives advocate and is a member of State Street’s Corporate Environmental Sustainability Committee Working Group. Michael is the past New England 7×24 Exchange Chapter President and a founder of the 7×24 Exchange Mentoring Program.
